ABOUT KOURTNEY KING
.
Helping women discover another way to understand love.

Helping women discover another way to live.
I believe many women have learned how to build successful lives but have never been taught how to cultivate peaceful, healthy love.
That conviction shapes everything I write, teach, and create.
I’m Kourtney King—author, educator, speaker, and creator of the Elegant Garden Girl System, a relationship logic system that helps women recognize the reasoning shaping how they love, choose, attach, respond, and build romantic relationships.
I am also the founder of The Emancipation Center, where I develop educational resources and teaching systems that help people understand the nature God gave them and learn to live from the logic of their spirit.
Before devoting myself full-time to writing and teaching, I spent nearly a decade in education, helping children and families grow both academically and personally. My background as an educator continues to influence everything I create. Whether I’m writing a relationship guide, developing children’s stories, or teaching adults, my goal is always the same: to make complex ideas understandable, practical, and transformative.
I earned my Master of Arts in Educational Theatre from New York University, where I developed a passion for using story, education, and performance as powerful tools for learning. That foundation continues to shape my work today through books, guided classes, teaching systems, and story worlds. Drawing from principles of educational theatre, I created the Embodied Logic Method, a way to move from ideas into lived practice.
But my most important education didn’t happen in a classroom.
It came through years of studying Scripture, observing the patterns that quietly shape human behavior, and asking why so many intelligent, capable women continued to experience confusion, instability, disappointment, and loss of peace in the area of love.
Again and again, I discovered that the issue was rarely intelligence or effort. It was the reasoning beneath the decisions—the meaning women gave attention, attraction, rejection, desire, being chosen, and relationships themselves.
That discovery became the foundation of the Elegant Garden Girl System.
I don’t simply teach dating. I teach women how to recognize the logic from which they love—so that fear, loneliness, rejection, validation, desire, or another person’s response no longer has to become the compass directing their romantic lives.
I’m also a mother, and that perspective deeply influences my work. I think often about what women learn about love, what we model about relationships, and what the next generation carries forward from what they see us cultivate.
Today, I continue to write books, develop educational resources, and create teaching systems for women who know there has to be more than achievement, more than being chosen, and more than repeating the same patterns in love.
There is another way to understand love.
