Helping women discover another way to love.
Many women have learned how to build successful lives but have never been taught how to cultivate peaceful, healthy love.
I’m Kourtney King—author, educator, speaker, coach, actress, storyteller, and creator of the Elegant Garden Girl System. This relationship logic system helps women understand the reasoning shaping how they love, choose, and build romantic relationships.
My work is grounded in both education and lived experience. I spent ten years as a public school teacher. I earned my Master of Arts in Educational Theatre from New York University, where I studied the use of story, education, and performance as tools for learning. I am also the mother of a young adult, having raised my son from childhood into adulthood, and my own experience has included marriage, divorce, and dating. These experiences have shaped how I understand people, relationships, learning, and what we pass on to the next generation.
My work is also grounded in my education and training as a certified coach. Through that education, I learned to study Scripture as a manual for understanding the cognition and function of the Spirit and applying its logic to relationships and everyday life.
That understanding changed the way I saw romantic relationships. I discovered that many intelligent, capable women were not struggling in love because they lacked information or effort. The reasoning beneath their decisions was often directing what they chose, tolerated, pursued, feared, and called love.
That discovery became the foundation of the Elegant Garden Girl System. I teach women to recognize the logic behind their love, so fear, loneliness, rejection, validation, desire, or another person’s response no longer has to become the compass directing their romantic lives.
My background as an educator, mother, actress, and storyteller has also led me to create books and story worlds for children and teens, bringing these deeper principles to the next generation through story.
I am also the founder of The Emancipation Center, where my broader work helps people understand the nature God gave them and learn to live from the logic of their spirit.
